Anoles are small lizards that can be spotted here in New Orleans, they speckle the landscape if you look close enough. Every time I see one of these little creatures I am reminded how even something so tiny can thrive. Though death may loom around the next crevice, they continue on, a metaphor that scatters across the sidewalk daily.
